What does a ‘website review’ include?

Many factors come into play during a website review.  Here are a few of the items that we take a look at during the review:

  • Value statement. Can your users easily see the value of your services/products? What sets you apart from others?
  • Content messaging & placement. How well is your main message being communicated?  Is the site content succinct and easy to read? Is it clear what action needs to be taken next?
  • Look and feel. Does the site look dated?  Does it have a modern professional look with appropriate imagery? Are consistent styling elements used throughout the pages?
  • How easy is it for the user to contact you? Is contact information and forms provided in the right places?
  • Search engine optimization. How well is your site being indexed by search engines?
  • Mobile devices. How well does your site render on the various mobile devices?  Per StatCounter, 51.3% of website visits in October 2016 were generated by mobile web browsers. Obviously, today’s users expect sites to function well on all device types.
  • Plus many other items. Let’s take a fresh look at your website now with a no-commitment website review.

I have an idea that I would like to have designed and developed, where do I start?

We believe there are 3 phases to bringing ideas to life — concept, create, and captivate. We are passionate about partnering with our clients every step of the way to deliver a successful outcome.

Concept:  This phase encompasses ideation, strategy, and design.  Typically, this involves deep dive sessions between the client and designers to fully understand the vision and develop the strategy. This is the phase where your idea will benefit from deep creative experience. This often includes creating wireframes and mockups to illustrate the concept and work through the consumer behavior and actions.  It is important to validate the design before costly time is spent building the actual application.

Create:   This is where the concept is developed.  The foundation and framework are established, and the product is built.  Depending on size, this will be done incrementally and fine-tuned throughout the create process.  Oftentimes, a prototype will be built first to prove out the design, vet the technologies, and demonstrate the product to your stakeholders. This phase is also where the market strategy elements are developed such as SEO, social media, and advertising aspects.

Captivate:  This is where the vision, strategy, and product come together. The idea is now ready to be introduced to the market and the launch strategy is implemented.  It is the right moment for a perfect delivery. With the right tools and the right people, the right audience will be attracted to what has been created!
